Refund Policy

Last updated: May 20, 2026

We want QRLagoon to be worth paying for. If it isn't, this page explains exactly how to get your money back — no scripts, no friction.

1. When refunds are available

We offer refunds in the following cases:

  • Your first paid subscription, within 14 days of purchase, for any reason — refunded in full automatically from the Billing page.
  • A service-side outage on a paid plan that materially affected you (we'll proactively offer prorated credit or a refund).
  • Billing mistakes on our side (duplicate charges, wrong plan applied, etc.) — refunded as soon as we can verify what happened.

2. Refunds requiring manual review

Refund requests for renewals after the first month, partial-period refunds following cancellation, or requests submitted more than 14 days after the original payment are not processed automatically. These cases are reviewed manually by our team. Please contact us with the details of your situation, and we will review your request fairly and reasonably.

3. How to request a refund (self-service)

If your payment is within the 14-day self-service window:

  1. Open /app/billing/history in your dashboard.
  2. Find the charge you want refunded and click "Request refund".
  3. Add an optional note (it helps us improve) and confirm.
  4. You'll get a confirmation email immediately. Funds typically land back on your card in 5–10 business days.

4. What happens to my subscription?

When a refund is approved, your subscription is cancelled immediately and your workspace moves back to the Free plan. You keep access to your data — paid features just stop working until you upgrade again.

5. Manual review (outside the window)

Send a short email to billing@qrlagoon.com with your workspace name, the Paddle transaction ID (or invoice number), and a sentence describing what happened. We aim to respond within one business day.

6. Payment-provider notice

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (our merchant of record). They handle the actual money movement; we tell them to issue the refund. Once approved, the credit appears on the same card or method you originally paid with.
